Summary

MD to Perfect PDF is designed as a local-first tool. Markdown editing, preview, and PDF preparation happen in the browser.

We do not sell personal data and we do not run analytics or ad trackers in the extension.

Data We Process

  • Markdown content: The text you type or paste in the editor.
  • Local preferences: Theme, selected font, editor width, and similar UI settings.

How Data Is Used

  • To render live preview and export your document to PDF.
  • To persist your settings and draft content in local browser storage.
  • To improve usability (for example, remembering your last layout and theme).

Where Data Is Stored

Data is stored locally in Chrome extension storage on your device. We do not transmit your document content to our servers in the current release.

Permissions

The extension requests only the storage permission to save settings and draft content locally.
